Living By Faith: Promises Made, Promises Kept

Romans 11:1-36

The righteous shall live by faith.  Romans 1:17b

 

When you consider God’s chosen people Israel and His irrevocable promises to them you see that God…

always preserves a remnant of faithful followers even in the darkest times. 11:1-10

graciously offers his saving kindness to the Gentiles which might motivate unbelieving Israel to return to Him. 11:11-21

warns the Gentiles not to be arrogant about their privileged position unless they experience the same judgment as Israel. 11:22-24

lovingly and graciously offers future salvation to the nation Israel. 11:25-32

is worthy of our unending adoration and praise for his perfect plans for all creation. 11:33-36

 

Application:

  • Have you personally responded to God’s kind and loving offer of salvation?
  • Are you choosing to worship God because of his kindness to you?
  • Are you personally convinced that God is all-knowing and all-powerful?
  • Do you personally believe that God always keeps his promises?
