The women of Madison Bible Church are single and married, young and not-so-young, career women and women who work exclusively in their homes. A few are natives to North Alabama, many are transplants from a variety of places. Some of us root for Alabama, some for Auburn, and a few don’t even like football! What we do have in common is the life-changing reality that the risen Savior is living in us and among us.
Our Women’s Ministries are focused on encouraging the women of Madison Bible Church to continue to grow in the love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to turn that love outward toward each other and our community through fellowship and service.
Women are invited to take part in weekly Bible Studies, monthly meetings of Sew Excited, occasional fellowships and yearly retreats. Service opportunities to the body of believers at MBC include ministries such as Awana, JAM (Jesus and Me) and providing meals for those recuperating from an illness. We also encourage reaching out to the community through our food pantry ministry and in cooperation with other ministries including Bible Study Fellowship, Community Bible Study, Moms In Prayer, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and the Downtown Rescue Mission.
