This great book provides a powerful and wonderful picture of all that Christ has accomplished for those who believe in Him. Our theme for our study will be, “Living by Faith.” Dr. Ken Boa in describing what Romans reveals to us about Christ wrote, “His death and resurrection are the basis for the believer’s redemption, justification, reconciliation, salvation, and glorification.” These are the great truths for us to know in our walk with Christ.  Martin Luther declared: “This epistle is the chief part of the New Testament the very purest gospel…. It can never be read or pondered too much, and the more it is dealt with the more precious it becomes, and the better it tastes.” The sixteen chapters of Romans have been outlined as follows: “the revelation of the righteousness of God (Chapters 1-8); the vindication of the righteousness of God (Chapters 9-11); and the application of the righteousness of God (Chapters 12-16).”
